“There’s No Business Like ‘Snow’ Business…”

Happy Monday morning, all!

I am so thrilled that it finally snowed here in Baltimore!  Three inches on the ground with more to come!

I am fortunate that schools are closed and my husband has a job that he can stay home on days like this.  The pancakes have been made, breakfast eaten, and coffee drank, so, we’re off to enjoy the snow!  (Did I mention I love snow and should probably live in CT, VT, etc…?)

I’ll leave you with these images of my beautiful backyard….

In case you are wondering, our backyard extends beyond the unattractive, chain-link fence.  Our property line goes to the trees at the far end where the little shed is, as well on either side of the fence.  We don’t like the look of the fence, but it does do a great job of keeping the kids corralled.

Not today!  We are going to be all over the yard enjoying our family’s day in the snow!

  1. I’m so glad you got the snow you’ve been wanting! You can have all of mine, too, if you want it… I’ve had more than my fair share this year and certainly don’t want to be a snow hog, ha ha.

  2. […] this happened.  Again.  While  Christine is very happy about her snow, since they haven’t seen much in Maryland this winter, here in […]

I love snow too but unfortunatelly I have never seen it outside of my house considering that I am living in a coastal area. So, I hope you enjoy the snow as long as it remains there! Hot coffee, a warm hug and some blankets are all that you need. Have a great time!!!!

    • Ha! I also live in a coastal area (the mid-Atlantic state of Maryland in the United States), but we are at the 37 degree N latitude mark, so I definitely experience the full breadth of four seasons. Enjoy your Mediterranean climate!

  6. Although I’m very thankful for the warmth we have here in FL and for the sun, which lifts our spirits and gives us energy, I have to confess I do miss me a good snow day! Those photos are gorgeous. Wish I could teleport myself there so we could go sledding together!

  7. […] If you recall, just two short weeks ago, this was the scene in my backyard covered in five inches of snow! […]
