A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words….

If only that were not true.  I mean, I take horrible pictures.  I have an artistic flair, but the art of photography escapes me.  I know what a good photograph looks like, but I can’t create one, no matter how hard I try.

Thankfully, I have a wonderful friend, Jane Maccubbin, whom is an amazing photographer.  In the past she has kindly taken photos of my children (see my blog’s banner photo – aren’t their piggies (toes/feet) cute?).

Luckily for you and me, Jane recently launched her very own blog/website, janemaccubbinphotography.com, and is providing free photography lessons.  The only thing you need to do is visit her blog, read, learn a thing or two, and start practicing.  While you are there, be sure to follow Jane’s blog as well as her facebook page!

Of course, I should probably take my own advice and get my hind end over there.  Like I said, I take horrible photos.  In the meantime, I’ll be sharing my ‘not-so-perfect’ photos of my little projects, so bear with me.

P.S.  Do you like how this post about photographs is completely devoid of such things?  Even one more reason to visit Jane’s blog.  Bonus!  She has newborn pictures!

I LOVE your headline photo, I’ll be sure to check it out. I used to think I took decent photos till I started blogging and saw what/how people post. Now I realize I need a crash course…quick! Thanks for sharing!!

    • Not a problem. You take much better photographs than myself. My friend Jane is a wonderful photographer, and kind person to boot. Be sure to follow her blog/facebook page, as she will be posting more tutorial content.
