And the winner is….

Uh,
there isn’t a winner….
I know, how anti-climatic
is that?
These are the poll results:
Which color should I paint the french provincial bedroom suite?
Answer | Votes | Percent | |
---|---|---|---|
Aqua/Turquoise | 5 | 31% | |
Gray | 5 | 31% | |
Coral | 3 | 19% | |
Baby Pink | 2 | 13% | |
Black | 1 | 6% | |
Yellow | 0 | 0% | |
White | 0 | 0% | |
Ivory/Cream | 0 | 0% | |
Hot Pink | 0 | 0% |
As you can see, ‘gray‘ and ‘aqua/turquoise‘ are tied for first.
Bummer, I was hoping for a clear winner.
Although, truth be told, I was thinking of mirroring my poll results after the Presidential
election results,
in the event of a ‘electoral vote’ winner vs. a ‘popular vote’ winner.
I know, I’m geeky bad.
Anyway, here are my thoughts:
- Gray may be the better choice in terms of resale, as it is more neutral and therefore easier to incorporate into an already existing room/home.
- The aqua/turquoise is beautiful, but probably a bit too taste specific.
- Since I haven’t received any interest regarding a custom color for a specific purchaser, I’ll need to follow the rules of the vote and choose the color.
Well, since it was a tie, I think it is only fair that both colors be used.
Of course, not on the same piece/set.
What I haven’t told you yet is that I have been working on another freebie project that also
requires a new coat of paint.
Voila!
Problem solved.
I will paint one project gray and the other aqua/turquoise.
Here is the color I have chosen for the aqua/turquoise:
and, the other project gray.
That’s fair, right?
I’ll be posting the gray color choice, once I make the selection.
Thank you to all that voted.
It was fun!
I can’t wait to show you my projects.
That sounds like a good compromise!
Can’t wait to see it done. PS LOVING the revamp on the site!
Thanks! I’m trying. 😀
Looking forward to the end result 🙂
