After much research and multiple deliveries and returns of other strollers, this stroller is the clear winner for our family! Our only family car is a very compact Audi A3. After struggling with the fit and arrangement of car seats in our tiny 52″ back seat (one booster, one forward facing, and one infant carrier), my husband and I were limited as to the type of stroller that would work for our family and trunk size. Much to my disappointment, most double strollers/sit and stand strollers/side-by-side jogging strollers were too long, wide, or both to even fit in our trunk, even if we allowed for no other storage in our trunk. Not to mention, most that fit our needs were quite pricey. Another obstacle that I encountered was that most stores do not hold these specialized strollers in stock, so we were forced to order strollers online, wait for delivery, assemble, attempt to place them in our trunk (unsuccessfully), and then ultimately return them with an additional cost in shipping – not fun. An additional issue was that most stores and manufacturers neglected to state the ‘collapsed’ dimensions of a stroller, making my selections pretty much a guessing game. Not this stroller (kudos to One Step Ahead) it listed every detail that I needed to know, included the collapsed dimensions. To my pleasant surprise, the stated collapsed dimensions were smaller than my tiny car’s trunk’s dimensions. I was sold and ordered immediately without even consulting my husband. The stroller arrived yesterday, my husband assembled it (a matter of snapping the wheels in place), and then the moment of truth – IT FIT IN OUR TRUNK WITH ROOM TO SPARE!! I am so pleased with this stroller, beyond the fact that it fits my tiny car. Our Baby Trend Flex Loc car seat fits perfectly, my 19 month old fits comfortably (and quite proudly, I might add) on the jump seat, and our 5 year old also manages to stand on the platform. Although the intention of this stroller is to hold two children at a time, I feel comfortable with all three on board. I might also add that I am a petite person, only 5 feet tall, and I have no trouble pushing or lifting this stroller. I wish someone had told me about this stroller sooner.
