What to do with those pesky baby food jars?

Recently I found myself asking this question, “What do you do with empty baby food jars?”.  Yes, I know I can recycle them, but I felt like there had to be other, more exciting, possibilities out there.  A solution I found for three of my jars was as candle holders.  I remembered that I had three orange votive candles in a box somewhere and decided to get it in gear.  Earlier in the week I found an unfinished bag of coffee grinds in the back of a kitchen cabinet during a clean-out.  The coffee still smelled wonderful, but not good enough to convince me that it would still taste good a year after the expiration date.  So, I decided to layer the coffee grinds in the bottom of the baby food jars and nestle the votive candles within.  Voila!  The smell combination is amazing and I am quite pleased with the result.  I love it when I don’t have to spend a dime to get something new!
